The Mysterious UZIMON rarely talks about his past. But maybe that's because he is so focused on the future. A future, in which "Reggealution" is a way of life, where Cannabis is not only legal but mandatory, and where Punani flows freely in the streets. His underground following has allowed him to pack out shows from Mercury Lounge to Brooklyn Bowl, to the Bermuda Music Festival. He has shared the bill with such prominent artists as Ziggy Marley, Rawekon, Langhorne Slim, and The Slackers to name a few.

 

Steven Hager, former editor-in-chief of High Times magazine and founder of the renowned "Cannabis Cup" remarked, "you may not understand what he is talking about half the time, but this guy can spit and sing with the best of them".

 

One thing is for sure, as long as the corrupt world system exists, UZIMON will be there to spit lyrical bullets at it, lyrics both "metamaphorical and physical".
